Klondike Solitaire Rules
Objective
The goal is to move all cards to the four foundation piles, sorted by suit from Ace to King.
Setup
The game is played with a standard 52-card deck. Cards are dealt into seven tableau piles. The first pile has one card, the second has two cards, and so on. The top card of each pile is face-up, while all others are face-down. The remaining cards form the stock pile.
Gameplay
- Cards in the tableau can be moved if they are face-up.
- Cards can be placed on tableau piles in descending order and alternating colors (e.g., a red 10 can be placed on a black Jack).
- An empty tableau pile can only be filled with a King.
- Cards can be moved to foundation piles in ascending order by suit, starting with Ace.
- Click the stock pile to turn over cards to the waste pile.
- Cards in the waste pile can be played to the tableau or foundations.
Winning
You win by moving all 52 cards to the foundation piles, with each pile containing cards of one suit arranged from Ace to King.
Scoring
- Moving a card to a foundation: +10 points
- Moving a card from waste to tableau: +5 points
- Turning over a face-down tableau card: +5 points
